10 Layouts from one Paper Pack; Bella Blvd Family Forever; Instagram Pics

Hello Scrappy Peeps!  As usual I am so behind - in pretty much everything these days!  We made the decision to move to a larger home so that I can start up a home daycare in the fall and for those of you counting (probably just me and my BFF who has replaced her address book multiple times just because of me!) this is move #27 in my lifetime.  Yes, really.  So I SHOULD be an old hat at this packing gig - but I'm not!  We are excited about the new home though, beautiful garden for us to try our hands at gardening next Spring - should be interesting, as despite the last name, Green, my thumbs are anything but!  So for any of you out there with thumbs in any shade of green, your tips and advice are welcome :-)

Now for the stuff I CAN do, paper!  I wanted to share with you a workshop I did a couple months back for Scrap Addicts, called Scrap-A-Pack.  I used one paper back by Bella Blvd., "Family Forever", with 13 to 15 sheets of cardstock and created 10 single page layouts.  I embellished with the stickers that came in the paper pack as well as Bella Blvd. die cuts, twine, enamel dots, buttons, black ink and a black pen.  I also used a sketch or layout off Pinterest as inspiration.

I went for a square theme so I could use some of my newly printed Instagram photos, and I really love how they all turned out.  The class was a big hit too and I'm currently working on the next one, which will be 5 double page layouts - so stay tuned!  That class is in August and I'll try to post them before I pack up my computer for the move.

Here is Layout #1:

For this layout I used a sketch from Life.Paper.Scrapbook.  I loved the grid pattern and I think the faux stitching I did with my black Pitt pen was the perfect finishing touch to make all the beautiful patterns stand out.  Those three cuties in the photo are my two kiddos and my youngest nephew on the day we finally met him :-)  And I used the Rhonna Designs App for the designs and words on the photo.

Here is Layout #2:

Oh, my goofy boy!!  Love these photos of Tyler, they are so him.  Went all about the layers on this layout inspired by a Creative Scrappers sketch.  Had been wanting to try the diagonal strips look too and gave it a go on the top and bottom of this page.  I was happy with how it turned out :-)

Layout #3, another starring my handsome boy, this time showing his calmer, sweet side :-)

This layout was inspired by another sketch by Creative Scrappers, sticking to my  grid pattern theme.
I had just purchased my black pitt pens before doing these layouts, and I have to say, I loved adding some doodling here and there with them!

Layout #4:

This layout, starring my beautiful girl, Jessica trying out curly hair, was inspired by a layout by Lisa Diskinson for Bella Blvd on June 10, 2013.  I loved the diagonal grid!

Layout #5:

Like the title on this one?  Got creative and used an upside down "Y" for an "h" and a backwards 3 for an "e".  Have you ever done this?  Great way to get a few more words out of your letter sheet!
This layout was inspired by a Got Sketch? sketch.

Layout #6:  I don't often do layouts with a single photo, especially a small 3x3 photo, but sometimes the occasion definitely calls for it, and this was one such.  My husband took the kids out shoe shopping one day, cuz Tyler needed a new pair (good lord their feet grow fast!!), and they came home with all matching shoes!  I couldn't even get mad at the extra expense cuz it was too cute!

When I saw this layout on Pinterest by one of my favourite scrapbookers, Sherri Funk, I knew I had to lift it!  Thanks for the inspiration, Sherri :-)  Visit Sherri and see her post with this layout (May 2, 2014) on her blog, www.faithandscraphappiness.blogspot.ca

Layout #7 I used a couple collage photos I'd done with the InstaCollage App.  Selfies with my cuties!

For this layout I used another sketch by Got Sketch?

Layout #8 captures some rare photos of my hubby and focuses on our family of four.

This layout was inspired by both this Got Sketch? sketch as well as a layout by Becki Adams for Bella Blvd.  Becki is another favourite scrapooker for me, her work always amazes me!  You can visit her HERE to see her amazing work for yourself :-)

Layout #9:

Great way to embellish low cost is to use your scraps.  On this layout I used little scraps of paper to make banners and pinwheels - aren't those pinwheels cute?!
I used a Page Drafts sketch for this one.  I LOVE Page Drafts sketches and wish I had time to use more of them - Emma Stafrace is genius in my opinion :-)

Layout #10, and then and now layout with me and hubby :-)

Here I was inspired by this great sketch by the almighty Page Maps.  LOVED the idea of the double polaroid look!

And there you have it, 10 single page layouts from one paper pack!  I only wish I had remembered to take a photo of the paper that was left over - cuz it was next to nothing!  I truly maximized the use of all my paper and cardstock :-)  Stay tuned next month for the 5 double page layouts - I'll be using Simple Stories "Good Day Sunshine" and sketches from Scrapbook Generation.

Happy Scrappin'!

ANDIE :-)
